Backstroke Posts should be installed 5 metres from each end of the pool and backstroke flags should be 1.8 metres above the water. The posts slide into post sockets that are core drilled and glued into the concourse / coping.
Fina Rules:
FR 2.9 Backstroke Turn Indicators - Flagged ropes shall be suspended across the pool, 1.8 metres above the water surface, from fixed standards placed 5.0 metres from each end wall. Distinctive marks must be placed on both sides of the pool, and where possible on each lane rope, 15.0 metres from each end wall.

Standard
An eyelet is attached to the post allowing the backstroke flags to be tied or clipped to the post. The standard post is the most popular choice. Uses the AQ-PS01 Post Socket for the 38mm or other diameters available.
WD (Wet Deck)
An eyelet is attached to the post allowing the backstroke flags to tied or clipped to the post. The WD is a little taller to cater for pools with the sockets at water level to ensure the 1.8 metre clearence is maintained. Uses the AQ-PS01 for the 38mm or other diameters available.
Twist Lock
An eyelet is attached to the post allowing the backstroke flags to tied or clipped to the post. When inserting the post you will need to twist the post until it locks into position. The twist lock requires the use AQ-PS01/TL Post Sockets for 38mm or other diameters available.
