Dolphin Wireless Timing System

Dolphin is a proven wireless timing system with a fully integrated Hy-Tek Meet Management interface along with compatibility with Meet Maestro, Splash and other Management software. Dolphin provides wireless, synchronised, stopwatch style timing for swimming competitions. It significantly reduces the amount of effort required to run a meet and manage data. By synchronising all the stopwatches to the same start signal, the system has improved accuracy compared to manual stopwatches.
Version 5 of the Dolphin software brings a new interface and provides more options for data management, including importing events or manual input on the fly, TCP/IP Streaming, logging and the ability to print race results and more scoreboard options for compatible boards.

The Dolphin System Includes

(The system supports up to 3 lane timers per lane and up to 10 lanes)

Dolphin Version 5.0 Software supports Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Meet Maestro, Splash and other meet management programs.

Three Modes of Operation
Electronic Start System - When using Dolphin with an electronic start system, such as the CTS Infinity or Championship Start System, the Dolphin Starter is connected to the electronic start system with a cable. When the Starting Official starts the race with the electronic start system, the watches are started simultaneously. The Lane Timers stop them individually. These times are transmitted and saved for immediate access by meet management software. The system is reset for the next race.

Synchronised Start/Manual Stop - Means that the Starting Official starts all watches simultaneously with the Dolphin Starter, and the Lane Timers stop them individually. These times are transmitted and saved for immediate access by meet management software. The system is reset for the next race.

Wireless Manual Start/Stop - Means that the Dolphin wireless stopwatches are used strictly like standard stopwatches. Each Lane Timer uses the Dolphin watch to start, stop and reset individually. The data is transmitted wirelessly to the base, and stored on the laptop for access by your meet management software. This method meets all ruling bodies’ (FINA, Swimming Australia, NCAA, USS, NFHS, YMCA) requirements for backup timing. Wireless Manual Start/Stop (Additional Meet Manager Module required.)

Split Timing - Up to 10 split times can be recorded for each watch. The number of splits for each event is either set up manually in the Dolphin software or imported from the meet management program. Split can times are displayed on the scoreboard.
Lane Numbers - You can choose to display either lanes 1-10 or 0-9.
Otter Scoreboard Options - Time of day, 12-24 hour format and LED brightness.
Log Race Results - Race results are viewable.
Print function - Print race result manually or automatically.
Data Formats - Record results in Text, CSV, XML, D03 or D04
TCP/IP Streaming - Communicate with meet management software via TCP/IP socket connection
Event Index - Import Event list via CSV file or manual input on the fly.
Manual timing override - Prevents Time Keeper's from accidentally starting a Timer before the official start.
New Software Version Detection - Lets you know when a new version of the software is available to download 100% free with no licencing fees.
