Lovibond Photometer Tablet Reagents

Lovibond® Tablet Reagents combine accuracy and reliability with convenience & ease of use. Stable in storage, with a very long shelf life. Lovibond® test kits contain tablet reagents individually sealed in aluminium foil pocket blister strips for protection from the effects of heat, moisture and the atmosphere. It should remain “fresh” right up to the time you push it out into the sample, no need to touch the tablet with your fingers. Most tests use just one tablet which contains all the reagents & other additives required. Lovibond® Phenol Red tablets, for example, contain a mixture of carefully balanced additives to counteract the effect of Chlorine on the pH determination. In many cases, several different tests can be carried out using the same reagent; for instance DPD No. 1 tablets are used with or without other reagents in determining concentrations of Free, Combined & Total Chlorine, Monochloramine & Dichloramine, Chlorine Dioxide, Bromine & Ozone.
